i tripped on the stairs at school in front of the guy i totally loved haha. it was quite embarressing...k, well, he was at the top with his friend and he looked down at me and we were like smiling at eachother as i was walking up the stairs...it was a total slow motion moment :) haha...and then...i biffed it. it was SOOOO sad haha i was up in like 1/2 a second though. and he's all 'are you ok!?'haha and i'm all 'oh, yeah! haha. um cya!!!' and i like ran away which is what i soooooo shouldn't have done. i shouldve just laughed it off and still talked to him. this was 2 years ago so now i would have handled it much different haha o well

I'd rather not be specific, but there have been times when I wished that I could just turn invisible. I have lost good friends, because they interrupted me in the middle of what I was saying, before I could finish. They thought that they could see where I was going and didn't want to hear it. What's worse, they jumped to the wrong conclusion and would not let me explain. When I got angry, they said I was being selfish and threatening.
What's worse, they told other friends their interpretation of what they thought I was about to say, and everybody agreed that it was selfish and nasty! I'm being blamed for things I never said and never intended to say! So I lost a bunch of friends.
I have prayed a lot about this, and I have come to accept that the friends I had then are gone for good. But I have more friends now, and it wasn't the end of the world, and I have learned to preface my remarks with things like "This is a hypothetical situation" or "This is an example", so I am less likely to be misunderstood.
I hope that your friends are more willing to listen and understand than mine were. I hope this is in time to help. But even if they are not your friends any more, I have learned that life does go on. It is worth keeping on. I'm on your side. I'm rooting for you and praying for you.

when I was a wee girl about 7 or 8 I think, me and my mum used to visit an elderly aunt. For some reason, the conversation got round to age, and I was aked what age I thought this aunt might be. After pondering a while, and looking at all her wrinkles, I made an honest -guestimate ( and I thoughtI was being kind) when I said 'about a hundred?'!! I can well imagine my mum would have gladly jumped into any open hole in the ground!!

During my college yrs in Manchester, I took a job on the buses for the summer, a lady struggling with a double buggy and two kids was getting on my bus so I went to give her a hand with said buggy, which promptly folded up and snapped my fingers inside it !! so I let go with a mouthful of VERY bad expletives, in Welsh,(I am Welsh)thinking I was being smart. Well I guess it just wasnt my day, she was Welsh too, and reported me to my inspector who then told me off, infront of all my workmates in the canteen, and suspended me for 2 days. I bet she was the only other welsh person in Manchester, just my luck

I always want to disappear when I get really pissed at my husband! There has only been one time when I wanted to disappear and it wasn't something I said it was something my little sister said.... she told me she is now sexually active! OMG! I so wanted to run and hide forever! It sucks more that she is only 14, and I have met her boyfriend.... he is going to want to disappear when I see him again! I wish she had never told me! I cried for about half an hour, now I am just waiting for a call from my mom saying she is pregnant and she is moving her up to me, since I live in a different state.

It happens a lot to me. Because, i get carried away and do not think about the consequences of what i say. the one time i was walking with a group of friends making fun of people's names. then i said "what kind of a name is wesley?" after i said it i realised that one of the girls i was walking with was dating a guy called Wesley. i was so embarrassed and wanted to disappear.
