DO YOU NOT WATCH THE NEWS??? How hard is it to realize that they are not to be messed with?? Those terrorist had an agenda when they took the soldiers. They have every right to nail the ones who were behind it. You need to go read some history books. Israel has bowed down and out to make the Muzzies happy but it will never make the terrorist happy until all the Jews are dead. Killing of the innocent is a price paid in war!! Do you not think our innocent men and women are being killed everyday for something they believe in?? America does not have to intervene. This is something that will go on regardless. It is all written and there is nothing to stop it.

The problem with this question is the oxymoron "Innocent Lebanese and Palestinians". Besides Lebanon and Palestine claim to want this war to continue, how else can they obtain their goal of destroying Israel. And why would the USA have a "due role" of protecting Islam and Arabs after 9/11? It seems to me that they are getting their "due reward".

Because Bush is a bush league President and his advisers can't give him a clear set of options that balances all of the "calculus" needed to sort the multiple fronts he faces.
Bush's dem-mock-racy effort must be puzzling him highly as these supposed democratically elected governments can't seem to do anything that generates enough wealth for his friends along with the peace that the trickle down prosperity promises.

Due role? Since when are we Israels keepers. We seem to be the only one who understand that Israel is defending themselves. If you attack first, send in suicide bombers, fire rockets, and kidnap soldiers YOU are the one at fault! Hello? What part of that don't you understand?

Probably because Isreal is fighting for its existence and we are taking a "hands off" approach...
If anything, Isreal is getting attacked, constantly, and we do nothing about it, nor, does the Egyptian nations in that part of the World. They encourage it, to wipe our Isreal, so, Isreal will take what ever measures it has to, to survive.
We would expect no nations "not" to do the same thing, if "they" were fighting for thier existence too...

We are doing our part. We're supplying our allies, the Israelis, with arms, money, and technical and moral support to defeat our mutual enemies.
After we defeat them, the killing of innocent Lebanese and Palestinians will end.

nicely, Israel hit the UN Headquarters that holds humanitarian components and yet another scientific institution immediately. some extra targets like that to be sure that Gazans won't be able to recuperate somewhat and Israel could desire to call it an afternoon.
