Said like a good Christian but an impatient Christian.If that God is at all out there do you think that He was 'dead' tired after six continuous days of creative work and retired on Sunday is in deep slumber? The Hindus have God Vishnu who similarly retires on the serpent bed after delivering Eatth from demons but no so soundly as not to hear her cries when another demon rears his head.
It is natural for the like of you to be impatient because our time scale is so short. For the Hindus one human day is just a moment for Him.So rest assured He must be watching things all along(and perhsps smiling indulgently behind his moustache at impatients like you). If you are a believer firmly believe that the 'skies will open at the proper time and He will come down again'.
Those like me(not favoured with the gift of faith but on the other hand temerous enough to phoo-phoo the idea) have no such fears. For us the world is evolving according to its laws which may perhaps be changing according to exigencies of evolution( no straight-jacket restrictions for us).It would go on evolving but may be if on the way it does strikes against a wandering shooting star ,well Act I may be over but the drama will go on and on.Perhaps we may have a Second Coming of our own, who knows!

NO PLEASE NO! Do you really think any Gay man would want a mess like that???? I cannot imagine anyone even talking to him. He stays in the closet for a reason...Gays have nailed it shut for him. We do NOT want him in the group...the whole group would bet a bad rap. Leave him where he is...let him give Straights a bad name...works for me.
