When I paint my fingernails, the nailpolish will sometimes get a ton of bubbles in it and dries that way and it looks terrible.

You are shaking the bottle too vigorously!!
Roll the bottle between your palms before using.
Also your polish may be old and make sure your nail beds are clean - if you are using a base coat the polish may not be compatible.

This sometimes happens if you have moisture on your nails.
This could also happen if the polish has been sitting for a while and its not shaken up well enough. When polish sits it seperates and you have to shake it pretty darn hard to get it mixed well.

if you shake it too much and have air bubbles in it or put it on too thick it can dry with bubbles.
