These decent honest kind people are everywhere, but they are being quiet and minding their own business. THey aren't likely to sweep their arms around you and pretend to be your best friends upon first meeting (while they feel for your wallet) They aren't being loud and shouting at you, cramming their view down your throat and harassing you.

Several passed you by today, probably, with their eyes fixed straight ahead while lost in thought. But the person that jumped out and stole your attention, either pretending to be your best friend or trying to get you mad, is only one person. He is just louder and more obvious than all the others because he is in your face.

Don't trust people that are too "in your face". Quiet nice people who mind their own business and just try to get along, take a little longer to get to know. And they are just as scared of trusting strangers as you are.

Because with the world being as corrupt and cold as it is, the honest and kind folks are afraid to let you hear the sweet sound of their voice.

Like me, I can speak or talk about any- and everything openly to anyone. If you were to see me in the mall or something, I would be in a corner or something trying to stay out of the world's way. I would hate to be the one to bother someone because of where I was standing or how I looked.

If you are truly looking for decent, honest and kind folks, look in the exact opposite place you would think to look in the first place.

I believe there are some very decent people in this world, but then again there are also some really nasty people too. I believe it is all how the people are raised, and what their home life was like.

I deal with a lot of people in my profession, for the most part they are very nice people, but every once and a while I come across some really nasty people. I just think they are miserable and don't want anyone else to be happy. Like they say, misery loves company.

Because we are all human and because so many mean and hurtful things have become acceptable. People love to skate a thin line between good and bad and society keeps moving that line further onto the bad side. Sad but true. I know people say it a lot but my grandparents lived in a different world than we live in today. Then your character meant everything. Now it seems the only thing that matters is your credit score and your bank account.

They are out there, it's just hard to find because most people have become so very calloused due to the way that they are treated by others. Basically, people are looking for others to do something for them that warrants them doing something for another.

In other words, be your nice honest, decent self and continue to do so -- others will come around in time. Not all people are bad, they've just been burned too many times by others and now the "Berlin Wall" is up... it takes time to come down.

It's hard but believe it or not there are stilll a few who actually are decent. I wonder the same thing but you got to understand that this place is full with hyprocracy and there really isn't any room for kind people.

I think it's because very few of us see beyond the illusion of humanity that has been generated and spoon fed to us for generations. "It's all about work and money and being number one"

It's really all about respect and care for yourself and others and that is shown by being honest, kind and decent (the latter has some flexibility within the privacy of your own home)
