I'm not sure he's a great closer and I hate to see him injured all the time

No. Despite what other people might say, I think the Dodgers will re-sign him. He might not be the same as before, but he will be able to get the job done. No matter what, Gagne is still the best!
Go Dodgers!!

no it is not, next year he will be healthy.Look at all-star pitcher brad penny,he was out 2 years now he is back.garciaparra was out 2 1/2 years now he is an all-star.gagne pitched 2 innings, had 4 strike-outs,era fo zero.when he becomes a free-agent he will have to take a pay-cut,he has spent his entire carrer with the DODGERS his one of those guys who does not leave his only team.

Yes. He will be a free agent after they decline his option, so he'll be looking for a new team. A team like Arizona without a clear-cut closer might take a flyer on him with an incentive-laden deal.

I think so. He falls into that same category as Kerry Wood. Flashes of brilliance but constantly hurt. There will always be questions of what could've been.
