Well, you can either buy something that have particular meaning for you and then charge it with your own energy or make your own. Amulets are used to bring change in your life or help you in particular situation. You should wear them on you or keep them under pillow or sheets. They can be very simple, just the symbol on the piece of paper or if you are more skillful, you can make more complicated ones. Now, you should take into consideration colours, adding herbs or stones to your amulet, depending what is it for. don't buy them...the ones you make yourself have the most power. something you buy in all likely hood would be mass produced. i suppose you could find someone to on ebay who makes personal amulets. an amulet can be anything you create that has meaning for you and has been infused with your intention. you would create it from clay or some other pliable material putting both your personal symbol and the symbol of the object you would like to bring into your life.
spend some time creating your personal symbol and investigating the symbols for what you want to come into your life. carve them into the clay or sew them into fabric. leave them on your windowsill during the new to full moon all the while thinking about your goal and then bury them in the ground and let the Gods take care of the rest.

An amulet (from Latin amuletum; earliest extant use in Natural History [Pliny], meaning "an object that protects a person from trouble") or a talisman (from Arabic tilasm, ultimately from Greek telesma or from the Greek word "talein" which means "to initiate into the mysteries.") consists of any object intended to bring good luck and/or protection to its owner. Potential amulets include: gems or simple stones, statues, coins, drawings, pendants, rings, plants, animals, etc.; even words said in certain occasions – for example: vade retro satana – (Latin, "go back, Satan"), to repel evil or bad luck.

Write an amulet? You don't write one, but you can write IN one. I'd look at a jewelery store, flea market, online, occult bookstores.
