IMPACTs on society?

What do you all think the impact of technology has had on society?

I think it made us lazy and less social. We sit here or in front of the tv, and interact less with real people in real life. We meet people in here and chat with them, then we call them on our cell phone.
Technology continues to eliminate the face to face interaction we have with others, which I dont think is good. We are all becoming introverts, sitting here in our jammies, and just going from room to room for entertainment.

On the whole it had a wholesome effect though there are odd instances where it had some ill consequences. God was not exactly a fool in warning Adam to go near the Tree of Knowledge. He had no doubt whatsoever about the wholesome effect of the fare but was not sure of young Adam with a brand new axe in his hand may do.Adam's sons (and daughters) ,a la Columbus,never believed that if you said westwords you will fall down the edge of the world into a bottomless pit. But when they did see the yawning pit just ahead they have reversed the course in time.God has not exactly abandoned mankind for the infraction of our ancestor, if infraction it was.He did not send His Son to save us for nothing and also promised of His Second Coming.
