Barboosa the Captain of the Pearl in the 1st movie, he marooned jack on that god forsaken island twice. I also heard that he was the same guy that played davey jones. THe apple was significant too. HE supposedly died in the 1st movie.

it was the guy who supposdly died at the end of the last one, this trilogy SUCKS, honestly the first one was good enough, then the second one sucked, now they are making a thrid one, the only reason they killed off Jack Sparow, was tht Johnny Depp refused to star in the third one. He will probaly make an apperance at the end but i don't even care. the second movie was horrible.

CAPTAIN BARBOSSA!!!!!!!! he was from the first movie...he was the captain of the Black Pearl until captain jack came and got it back...he was dead, or at least i thought he died!! and now i think he was brought back by tia (the witch doctor)
