oooh someone mentioned gerry anderson without involving puppets got to love stingray, captain scarlett and the other puppets shows he did, sorry i didnt mention red dwarf, yes ive seen firefly it had potential, someone mentioned space 1999...can they remember blakes 7(thats for a worst show question the sets shook worse than on cell block h)

The best older series is Star Trek, etc.
The best newer series is Star Gate, etc.
I really liked Babylon 5, though, and Dr WHO, and Firefly, and Farscape, and . . .

It's a three-way split between Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Doctor Who :-)

That's a tough one. Star Trek would have to take my vote. It opened the doors for all those other series. It will always stand the test of time as the greatest Sci Fi series ever.

Babylon 5 - The best story arc I have ever seen. A bit more realistic than the others, but it still entertains. I love this series.

Star Wars is the best. It has an easy to follow timeline unlike star trek. It has the best ailens, the best ships, the best effects and above all else it has the best charecters.
