OMG deffo O2 you can get anything upto a thousand texts for £30 a month (pay as u go) and you get to keep that £30 pound ( if you put it on in one go) you also get calls for 5p a minute after three minutes all day, you have one month to use the texts and depending on how much you put on a month, you still get to keep the money, it's the best one! Check out the site! They are also giving away free sim cards @ the mo!

I would suggest that if you look a little closer they are all identical thanks to some nifty price fixing - all are out to offer you the least value possible, through a package of ridiculous 'free' extras that are a waste of space - e.g. 100 million text messages - most grown-ups want to talk, not text - so if you find a tariff with lots of free minutes plus a few texts, you will always pay about 30 quid no matter what network you are on. Unless of course you sign up for a stupidly long 18 month contract which means no new phone for an eternity, and costs more because you spend 12 months on no promotional offer whatsoever.
In my experience you will always get more traction haggling with your current company rather than moving - ALWAYS work out the costs over the entire contract - don't be wowed by 3 free months or services you wont use.
