Firstly, I know I need to see a doctor and I will be soon. What I'm after here are some explanations so I at least have a heads-up on the possibilities of what I'm dealing with before I go.
For the last two weeks I have been experiencing sharp pain in the bone around my solar plexus spreading to my lower ribs, very similar to the symptoms of costochondritis, but no-where near my heart and equally bad on both sides of my chest. The pain comes in waves that can last anywhere from 1 minute to 1 hour. The pain can be anywhere from a dull ache to a sharp, crippling pain.
I also have, recently - in the last week - been getting a terrible pain in the front of my stomach (in waves, like the chest pain), which in turn feels very tight. The pain can be replicated in my stomach by applying large pressure. My bowel movements have been normal and consistant as has been my diet. Ibuprofen eases the pain temporarily as does warmth and heat. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong with me?

I should also note that the pain is worsened by strenuous physical activity. I leaped out of bed quickly this morning to turn my alarm off only to get one of the worst pain attacks I've had so far.
Also, I have never experienced any symptoms like these before.
