OBP= On Base Percentage

You can figure a batters OBP by Adding, Hits + BB(walk) + HBP(hit by pitch) then dividing that total by - At bats + walks + HBP + sacrifice flies..

Jason Bay - 2005
AB - Hits - BB - HBP - SF
599 - 183 - 95 - 6 - 7

183 + 95 + 6/599+95+6+7

284/707=.4016973 or an official OB% of - 402
