If you want to do it in style then get the MOTOROLA MOBILE PHONE TOOLS KIT from your wireless provider. If you have verizon sprint or alltel then forget it!!! It will not work unless you get the software from the service provider unless you have a real RAZR from cingular or t-mobile!
As far as connecting to your computer you can either buy a bluetooth usb dungle from bestbuy or circuitcity for about $15-30. Or go to local ANTI-AMERICAN WAL-Mart and get a mini usb cord for $3-6.
If you don't want the kit then you can download a free version of some really great software but it's hard to find... the best one is motorola explorer. You might have a better chance looking for it from GOOGLE!

Go to the store, or a wireless accessories store or website and get whats called a data cable or mobile service pak.
