The rent for apartments is escalating dramatically in Las Vegas. At Estancia I started out paying $714 a month. A year later prices were raised to over $800. And this wasn't for an extravagant complex by any means. Many of the apartments are being converted to condos to take advantage of all the people moving to Vegas (over 1,000 a month). If you are looking for something less expensive you will probably want to check out the northeast side of the city, near Nellis Air Force Base. Or you could live in nearby Pahrump.
