If you're going to tan, do it gradually over a period of time, with short sessions of exposure to the sun.ALWAYS protect your skin with the sunscreens . . Each sunscreen in the stores has a "sun protection factor" (SPF), which is equal to the amount of time you can stay in the sun without burning. You can do the math for yourself. Here's how it works: if you are sitting in the sun for 10 minutes, and you apply a sunscreen with an SPF of 10, you can sit in the sun for 10 X 10 minutes without burning. (That's 100 minutes)..

P.S:Very pale-skinned people should use a very high SPF or a total sunblock, since they burn faster than the normal rate

Nothing can stop you from laying out in the sun for as long as you want. However, I would use sublock.

If that is your picture...you look kinda HOTT!! but also pale..so you need to be careful. Don't lay out more then an hour for each side. I don't know..just be white..I like your complexion..why does every white girl want to be orange so bad.
