I'm enjoying this book so far but I'm unsure of what parts are fact and what is fiction.

I just finished it Saturday. You'll love it!

The History channel has been running a show frequently called 'Illuminating Angels and Demons' They add more history behind the fictional story.

The map, the art, and buildings are all true
The masons story correlates to the story.

The pope is fake in the story! ;)

Hope this helps. After you read it, you can surf the web for more photos of art and conversations about the book too. But wait until you finish for the conversational sites!

I did and it was incredible. The thing that you must remember though, with Dan Brown's books, is that he creates a work of fiction using facts. All the locations, artwork, sculpture, cults, traditions, etc, are all real. However, the goings on around them by all the characters is fictional.

But still, Angels and Demons was one of the greatest books I've ever read!

Me!!! I LOVE that book, such a page turner.

As far as the fact and fiction part, you'd have to do your own research, or just take it all in stride. Have fun reading the book, and don't let fact of fiction burden you.

The book is fiction. Fun to read, until you get to the end. Kinda goofy. Even hollywood would have a hard time with that ending.

I enjoyed it also and it is all fiction. There's a good program about it that shows up from time to time on the history channel

I read it's okay. It's in the fiction section of any local bookstore. So, I'm going to say that it's a work of fiction.

most is fiction and yes it's a great book, most of your Q's about each part are common historic facts and well known the rest is his interpretation

Read this book straight after reading Davinci Code, and I loved it. Can't wait for the movie to come out

Most of it is a figment of Dan Brown's imagination. Go to the CERN webpage. They have a little disclaimer there.
