I'd want the ability to stop time. I'd use it to lower the pants of evil-doers around their ankles, then I'd restart time and watch them trip or be ferociously embarrassed. I'd call myself "Captain Pants" or "The Slacks of Vengeance" Or "Khaki Man". Something like that.
My arch nemesis would wear an iron belted kilt. I'd HATE him. Damn his kilt!!!!

If I could render all explosives useless I'd go to the Middle East. I'd do a number on every country there and let those craze's just beat the chit out of each other with sticks

To be omnipotent and use the power to make the world a better place. Since I would be all knowing and all powerful, I would be able to discern between what might appear to be the right thing to do, and what actually is the right thing to do.

The ability to stop time for the rest of the universe and then start it again. Meanwhile I could continue doing whatever I wanted. Just imagine the stuff you could accomplish with that!

It would be the ability to turn anything into money. Like my shoe into a $50. That is a super ability that would pay the bills!

Something that can be tied into all together, like Telekinesis (or psychokinesis depending on ones opinion), Teleportation/opening "portal holes" to any place in the world and changing ones height or body shape.

It would be nice to show up for class get your participation credit, then leave. Or fly around the world would be great. You would save a ton on just the plane flights alone!!!

magically put money in my wallet. I wouldn't want any type of x-ray vision or invisibility or mind-reading or mind-bending. Most of those fall under the whole "curiousity killed the cat" category. Sometimes, you just don't want to know what everyone else is doing/thinking when you aren't around or in their heads......

I always thought the power of persuasion would be awesome power to have. Like Gambit, get others to do whatever you wanted them to do just by being able to persuade them. Imagine the possibilities???
