I would think long and hard about it. Why did he leave you for someone else? Does he just want you back now because it didn't work out the way he hoped with the girl he left you for? Or did he come to his senses and realize you are the one for him and he had it good with you? I would get these answers before you go back to him and then I wouldn't give into him too easily. I would make him work for you.

You need to figure out if you still love him. If you do, then you need to consider why he left you and why he now wants to come back - you should also ask him those questions and see what he says. It's not to say you shouldn't take him back - because people do make mistakes, and this mistake could have shown him how much he loves you and wants to be with you. But, you need to make sure he isn't using you and isn't going to walk out on you again.

it sounds like he regretted ever leaving you.. he obviously likes you more than that other girl. Maybe he just wanted to play the field a bit... it happens. If I were you, I'd give him another chance. But you don't have to listen to me, Listen to your heart! What do you think you should do? Whatever it is, it's probably the best thing to do. Well, i would seriously analyze him, and ask yourself if he is really the right boy for you. I mean, if he just leaves you, it might mean that one, he really doesn't care about you, and he wnts to look cool infront of somebody, be it his buddies, or otherwise. It might also be that he needed some time to realize that he really wanted you, and he really does want you back. It could also mean that he thinks he's so great, and how could you not take him back.
But honestly, you have to think about him and ask yourself if this boy really even cares, honestly.
