I think it breaks down into thirds. One third will not like you, one third won't care; the final third should be okay with you. More or less of course. Pretty nice if everyone liked you I guess, but could you like everyone I wonder. Different question.

I don't think so. Everyone in the world has a different opinion. It will be difficult to negotiate with anyone. If we are being liked by others, some other people would also have a feeling of jealousy or envy with us too.

We will probably burden ourselves to put on our best to be like by others. For example, a worker could work all day in the office just to be praise by his superior. The superior could also sill dislike him in other physical areas. Therefore, in live make yourself happy instead of others.

Sure. It all depends on your definition of "like" and if you are non-judgemental of yourself. There are a lot of people I "like", but, do I find him rude, her noisy, him smelly...sometimes. But, that does not mean that I dislike them because of smell, loudness, etc... If you are a person that feels imtimitated, dislikes your appearance, or has social issues, then you will not be liked by the fact that you will always be self-judging others opinions of you. Most times, people dislike someone because of traits or qualities that they themselves have issues with mentally, emotionally, or physically. I think you should first figure out what is YOUR definition of "like" and then go from there. We all have different opinions of different words. If you dislike someone, look inside of you and find out what that has to do with you.

No! It is also not a rational goal to even try and be liked by most. If most people hate you then you might be on track. The above applies to White people ONLY.

Absolutely not. People come from too many different backgrounds. You will always do or say something that someone else would never do in a million years.

It's impossible to be liked by everyone. It's just one of those depressing facts of life. There's always going to be someone out there who hates you for absolutely no reason.

No, I don't think so. I try to be a good person, and it really takes a nasty person to make me act rude, but I'm sure there are people out there that don't like me. All you can do is be the best person that you can.

Sure you can. But for the record, I doubt if I could stand being around you if you were liked by everyone. Think about it.
