don't have a favorite. I love all kinds. But id it has meaningful words and a slamming beat then I love it.

My Favorite is rock...more specifically Pearl Jam. Reasons being...their music is meaningful and full of teachings and messages. Music is suppost to inspire, teach, comfort...its suppost to open your mind and consider things that you may have never considered.
Pearl Jam is a band for the music and for the fans. They write music that they like and, they write music according to their beliefs (politic, social, spiritual) and it is their Love for music that that captures their fan base. They are one of the few great bands left, untainted by the record labels, media, videos, marketing etc...they just wanna express whatever message they have!!! Thats what music SHOULD be about!!

John Petrucci and Jimmy Page for individual artists
Why? Because they are talented and make great music.
