On a Cisco Catalyst switch - can you decipher password from config?

I inherited a catalyst 2948 switch and have the saved config with the encrypted password. Is there a way to devine the password from this? I know there are tools to do this for Cisco IOS - but can't find one for CatOS. Thanks.

You will probably have better luck and get it done quicker using the password recovery procedure from cisco rather than trying to decrypt the password. Check out this link for the 2948.
