Do you mean beside the horse thieves on my mother's side? Yes, I do. The farm my father was born and raised on can be traced all the way back to the Revolutionary War. I don't remember the name of the ancestor. I'd have to travel back east to the historical society there to find out, but the land and all were given for "services rendered" etc. Quite a bit of land, too.

Aside from those horse thieves, my mother's ancestors have a McDonald that worked for Boss Tweed of Tamany Hall days (more crooks). But then, if we go back further, we become honorable. Robert Burns, of Poetry fame is a great, great+ cousin of mine, and the Clan MacDonald that had that little disagreement with the Campbell Clan all those centuries ago? Well, the head of the Clan is our relation, and so is the first king of Scotland. My grandmother refused to eat Campbell soup when she was alive! What a silly goose!
