i am 45 and i agree. i am ready to go anytime. getting old sucks. the aches and pains and the looks and you just tend to become very cynical of people after seeing so much BS and having to deal with nothing but lies from everyone. .. any time LOL i am ready to go now LOL.

Ask this question again when you're 50.
50 isn't old anymore. I know men and women well into their 50's that are just as active if not more so than people half their age. Most of them live relatively healthy lives but definately have a good time. Hell, my father-in-law could run me into the ground on a bike and then drink me under the table afterwards. And as for the no looks and not sexy anymore statement, that is in the eye of the beholder.

You must not know many people 50 or over, like Susan Sarandon and Christi Brinkley, to name a few. Most people in their 50s are doing just fine, thank you, not bad looking, financially secure and enjoying an active sex life. Many who didn't smoke in the first place!
At 45 I've never felt better in my life, look fine, too, and my man is fantastic. Life is better than when I was in my 20's. Rich, warm, mellow and self confident. Something youth has yet to learn!
You must be very young and inexperienced to make such sweeping and immature statements, or else you been living in a wilderness cave somewhere.
Hot, youre NOT!

Obviously, you are pretty young to have this sort of attitude. I'm not anywhere near 50, but I have discovered that what you used to think as "old," really isn't once you get there. And, I'll bet there are some 50 year olds that are still pretty sexy. You just aren't old enough to appreciate them yet.

So what you are saying is that you have a desire to die. Most people have an instinctive desire to live. It doesn't matter how old or young you are. If you on the other hand don't have that desire, I would recommend that you seek to discover why. The desire for self preservation is very handy when you are in a life threatening situation.

WE really don't want to live that long. I'm 67 and I feel like an Eloy waiting for the Morlocks to come and eat me.
On the other hand, I'm in very good health and I should be able to live at least another 20 years being supported in my luxurous lifestyle by your poor children who have to work to support me... and I really want to say "thank you" for all giving me all your hard earned money... I promise to spend it wastefully.

Ask that question when you get to 50. I'm 52 and I haven't lost a bit from then till now. Exercise and an attitude are all it takes!
