A golden yellow under the brow, shimmery green on the lid and a copper or deep purple in the creases will make your eyes pop...and pick up all the colors in your eyes that mix together to make brown. You don't always notice those flecks til you add the yellows and greens to the area.

Then use a thick Kohl charcoal to line the lids and a black-brown mascara.

I use to have this problem too! here are some of my options, Try going to a M.A.C counter, they're are usually located in Macy's, Nordstrom and at www.maccosmetics.com, at the website you can ask a real m.a.c. artist any questions on colors, skin tone, applications, make up etc. There are also reliable m.a.c. guys and gals that can assist you. Eye shadows are $13.50 each. If you are looking for great quality but not sure about m.a.c., you can try L'oreals new line; HIP. High Intensity Pigments. These are formulated for ethnic/darker skin tones. I recommend you purchasing from either m.a.c or l'oreal an intense green, gold, blue pink/coral, yellows. Pastel colors such as cream and baby blue may work for you as well.

lavender, pink, peach and oddly enough, light browns and beiges.Mine used to be that dark, but they have lightened as I age. Just as long as you don't use dark colors, which will compete with your eye color, you should be ok. It's the contrast between light and dark that will make them stand out.

Try a shimmery brown or dark bronze shade, or green, or purple.

I suggested shimmery because they really do make your eyes pop.
