I sometimes see html links you can click on for further info, in the text of answers.

(i say html, but dont know html code!)
Also, can i use fonts or italics in the text box?

When you bring up a web page you want to use as a source for your answer or link someone to. Bring up the web page and the go to the Address Bar and click and drag down the URL to highlight it. Now right click and then click on Copy. Now go back to the Answers box and make sure the cursor is on a blank space. Right click and select Paste. It will appear as regular text until you submit your answer. Then it will appear as the blue underlined link.

ok all you do is have http:/ in front of the link say example yahoo the link to yahoo is www.yahoo.co.uk its not highlighted but if you have http://www.yahoo.co.uk its a link to cut and paste a link highlight the link in the address bar by right clicking when mouse is over it a little menu comes up saying cut copy paste etc
Click on the copy then on the answer section put you cursor there as if you are ready to type then hit the right button again and hit paste and the address should appear this also works if you highlight text and paste it or to remove text you hit cut and it removes a line you highlighted.

I don't know whether Yahoo Answers accepts HTML, but...

(i)ITALICS(/i) italics
(b)BOLD(/b) bold
(u)UNDERLINE(/u) underline

(a href=http://the url goes here)text goes here(/a) Yahoo!
(img src=http://the url to the image goes here)

Simply replace the ( with a < and the ) with a >. Examples have been shown.
