If the baby hasn't fallen or been hit and the bruise slowly came in for no apparent reason, I would bring it to a doctor if you have health insurance. DO NOT BRING THE BABY to the doctor if you suspect your boyfriend or hubby did it because THEY WILL CALL the police, I saw it on Law And Order.

When I was 12 I was watching my 4 mo old sister in the car on a road trip. We were at a rest stop and my mom was making a phone call. my sister rolled off the front seat of a Pathfinder onto the ground. She is FINE. Babies will bruise when they fall. They're human! Check your baby book, if she shows any more worrisome signs take her in. She will be fine. And my 16 sister doesn't remember it at all

My 6 month old does this slam thing with his head when he sleeps. We first noticed it at about 2 months old, it didn't matter if he is sleeping on me or in the crib, he would slam his head around. It has become less drastic since he has started crawling and has better head control, but we had to put the bumper up in his crib because we were afraid of him hitting his head on the side rails. Take her to the doctor just to be safe, even if nothing ends up being wrong, you will at least have peace of mind.

is it like a horizontal line at the midway topish of her nose? My little brother had the same thing. it looks like a vain. im pretty sure it was normal, but go to a doctor just in case. my little brother had allergies but he got cured of that so its no big deal if she has allergies, but as a concerned mother, its great that you check with a doctor just in case. good luck and i hope ur daughter is okay, which she probably is!

Do you leave her with a baby sitter? If so take her to the doctor and report it.
