It's a complicated issue, but I don't feel the need to support American companies and products simply because they are American. I buy the best product at the best price, and if that comes from overseas, so be it. That's the point of a free economy. If American companies can't keep up they need to change their business practices.

i think its really stupid not to buy a car just because its made in the usa... if i would have money i would buy the best car...doesnt matter if its from europe or the us...but i dont support that american way of thinking that the us is the worlds greatest country, with the best people..and so on..i think this ideea is just promoted (is this the correct word?) by the media, television, newspapers....people really shouldnt say that the americans are great, that the britains are all unfriendly and rigid or that the dutch are all weed- smokers...were all different ....and thats the beauty of it

Sure. Heck you guys can have all the oil and natural gas you need from us as far as I'm concerned. I don't want to ever hear again that an American froze to death when we have all the heating fuel you could ever need. I'd rather give it away to you then have that happen again. Whatever you need cousin, we've got your back. We see your hurting and we'll do whatever it takes up here to help out. Sell us some of your gear, ship it up; there is all sorts of things you've got that no one else has and they want it! Just keep those war birds flying eh.

buy MADE in America when I can. However there is very little made in America anymore. Assembled in America yes, made in America, you're kidding right? Where do you find items made in America? Tell me please! Even my supermarkets vegetables are from Chili and Peru. And there is not a car fully made in America anymore either. Maybe Saturn but I bet if you checked that out the parts are not.Sorry I would if I could. And I very rarely go into a Walmart. It's just not my favorite place on many levels

Dear citizens of planet earth, I myself am living in a developing country called India & it's so disheartening to me to see that All the developed Christian countries have tried their best to help immigrants from other third world countries to assimilate in their country but ALL HAVE FAILED. I can say that because I know how tough it is to live in a developing country & I can give a first hand account of the life citizens of developing countries face.
Back home their own country could not give them a good decent life in the first place so that's why they immigrated & left their own country. Everybody knows the kind of life they were used to living in their own country was more like living in a hole full of worms or drains.
The whole world knows that ( Please check the web site of Transparency International or FBI site to know the facts for yourself ):-
Corruption,
Rapes,
Violence,
Lawlessness,
Female foeticide,
Dowry deaths,
Lack of Courtesy,
Hypocrisy,
Malnutrition,
Doctor Patient ratio,
Male Female ratio,
Abundant Caste system,
Child Labor,
Female abuse
& lots of other such problems are much more rampant in the developing countries than developed countries from where these immigrants have come from.
Moreover, All the Immigrants want the best of all things of the country they immigrate to but don't want to shed or sacrifice anything they brought from the country they left back at all, be it their age old customs/religion or language in return for the good life that country is giving them.
Thus they become a big problem for that country & in the end, eventually, do more harm than good e.g. All the Sikhs & Hindus or Muslims build their own places of worship like temples, mosques or gurudwaras in the country they immigrate to & don't want to accept or respect the traditions or customs of the country they have immigrated.
They are dishonoring God by refusing to accept the change they themselves had so desperately wanted in their lives by praying to God for their immigration.
If they so like their religion & it's customs why don't they go back to India or Punjab or other such developing countries from where they came from?
These immigrants vitiate the whole atmosphere & result in total chaos e.g. recently in England on 7/11 where home grown immigrants were involved.
So i think ALL IMMIGRANTS SHOULD RESPECT the customs, religion & traditions of the countries they immigrate to by leaving their own customs/rituals or traditions & in doing so they will help themselves much better & the rest of the World.
America should be tough with immigrants like Holland or France who have made it mandatory for All immigrants to Learn their Language & customs & traditions & religion.
I have recently become a born again Christian as I know JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, THE ONLY TRUTH & THE ONLY LIFE & ALL roads lead to a dead end.
GOD Bless you.

I don't support America, and what's more, I don't see any reason why I should.
But then again, I'm not American.
But yes, people who don't support their country are gits.
