I'm a 19 yr guy who is going to have a baby with a 25 yr girl. I want to know would you tell your parents about this or would you hide it for as long as you can. I am going to take care of my child, but I'm scarred of what might happen. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should tell your parents as I am sure that they are going to be more supportive than what you think. I got pregnant with my son before I was married and did not want to tell my mom, but I did and she was thrilled. Good luck!!

i would not hide anything, i did that when i got married. i have learned the hard way that you should tell the truth all the time. you never know what the outcome could be, you know? its something that is already done and you cant go back on it now, so tell them now, so if they get way mad, it wont be when the baby is just born, and that is not fair to the baby to get less attention from grandparents by you hiding it long either. they'll have to know eventually. so step up and b a man, u were to make the child, b a man and tell ur folks!

I went through this, not at 19 though I was 23. We tried to hide it from my parents until we moved out on our own. I really wish I had told them right away. Once my parents found out it got alot easier. I will admit they were a little disapointed in my actions, but then they got over it and did alot to help us along.

That child is now 9 and his mother and I are now married for 7 years and now have 3 kids

Sit down with your parents and tel them, after you form a plan for how you are going to care for the mother and child.

Hiding it won't help--they will just be more hurt later. Here's the deal. You obviously felt adult enough to have sex, now be adult enough to deal with the consequences. I am glad to hear you say that you are planning on taking care of the child. I hope you have a good job and are in school. You are going to need both! Tell your folks as soon as possible--you are going to need them, too. Good luck with your new family.

Let your parents know about the soon to b grandchild. I'm sure that you have loving parents, and they would help you anyway that they know how too. This would be the best thing that you could do for you and your baby. God Bless and good luck.

d1,

FIRST - if you care for your baby, you will need all the support and advice you can get so you NEED to tell your family.

SECOND - talk to your girlfriend and tell her that you really need to tell your parents about this.

THIRD - tell your parents. at the beginning they will probably be upset but then they will look forward to being grandparents (every grand parent adores a grand child / they may turn their back on you but they will never turn their back on the baby)

Tell your parents. Unless you live in another state from them, it will be quite hard to hide anyway....and what would realy be the point. If you tell them now, they will be mad.....and if you hide it and tell them at some point...they will be mad. So just get it over with.

I know you are scard and that is normal,
but you and your lady freind should set down with your parent's
and tell them I know that sound's easyer said than done.
they will be upset for a while but when thry see that bundle of joy they
will be fighting on who will hold the babby frist
if you wait to tell them they will wounder why you did not TRUST them
