first of all, how old are you? If you are under 11, you need to wait. If you are older than that, you need to wait maybe a week or two and ask her again. If she says no, ask her why, and make a reasonable compromise. If she still says no, either just start, or wait and repeat the process again. Good luck. I started when I was 11.

I don't know how old you are or if you need to shave them, but here is my opinion. If you have visable hair on your legs that bothers you, then shaving is a good idea. If you are at least 11 or 12, I would say that is probably the average age for beginning to shave.

You didn't say how long ago you asked your mom, with a "no" as a response. But I suggest you show her your legs, let her know it bothers you and ask her to show you how to save correctly. If she still says no, ask why.

Well, it does matter how old you are, but what also matters is how much hair growth you have on your legs.
Yes, Mother's word should be enough, but from someone who went through this very same thing growing up, let me just tell you that if the hair growth is incredibly thick and very obvious even to a casual observer, I think you should try to reason with your Mother on that subject and get her to re-think her decision.
Trust me, my Mom wouldn't let me shave and I was 12 with hairy armpits. When it gets to the point that other people notice or you're teased about it at school...it's TIME.

Why couldn't you tell her that you understand that she said No. But you'd like to know when you'll be able to, because you... (insert reason here why you think you should be allowed to shave your legs now).

Is there an age she thinks you should be? Can you check back with her in two months? Ask her when you can check back with her again about her decision.

I think just asking if you can check back again in two months may be the way to go. THEN STICK TO IT! Don't nag at her daily about it. Be mature about it. Negotiate when you can bring it up again for discussion and stick to that agreement. She'll be much more open to discussion about it if you keep the terms you agree upon!

how old are you? sit down and talk to your mom about it - ask her why she doesn't want you to so you can get a better idea of what to do. if you're 12 or older, i think you're probably old enough to start. i think i started around that age... if your mom has something against shaving, you could always try Nair

i was defiantly in the same boat as you...my mom is kind of conservative so it was hard to make her budge. depending on your mom, there are different methods you can use. with my mom, the more you bug her about something, the likelier she will let me do it. so thats what i did. i was 12 i think. but if your mom is different, then prove to her that you are mature enough to do it (if in fact you are), also, depending on your age(if you are really young or anything) she might be right about not letting you do it. or you might not even need it. its not as glamorous as it sounds (trust me)
hope i helped..good luck :)

So what part of "no" are you having trouble understanding darlin'?
Just wait... when the time is right, she'll let you know.

I would do it anyway. BUT If you MUST have her permission try asking if you could use Nair instead.
