Because our society has deemed it civil to consume a malignant fluid that when abused can possibly cause one to become violent, sick or in some extreme cases dead. Why? That's the easiest question yet. Because there is a tremendous market and it keeps growing with the times. To become inebriated, to be able to escape whatever ailment one may have , if only for a short while, is something that most people indulge in. Some people may like caffeine products, others sugar, some may have a affinity for your pharmaceuticals while some like the natural highs produced by their own bodies (adrenaline, sexual stimulation. Yet still some prefer alcohol. It matters not what form you take your mind numbing, altering, pleasing, pain killing, brain cell slaughtering, to curling stimulation. It's all for the same reason, to escape yourself, to escape the world you know and enter a new one where there is only euphoria. Does that answer your question?

Because gettin drunk is fun and easy, its my favorite thing to do. Theres nothin like a really good beer buzz to inspire ones creative thought. If you would try it for a week straight youd know what im talking about. P.S. dont worry about the hangovers they get less severe, especially when you wake up to a cold one. Go for it!

Because it's one lil' cocktail's difference between pleasantly buzzed and drunk. Gotta walk that line. If drinking I prefer to be slightly tipsy myself and to avoid "drunk".

We drink because it's social, freeing (somewhat) and it's fun. All except the headache the next day.
