Facial jewelry..what's your opinion?

It makes me sick. I would never hire someone who came to an interview with jewelry in their lip, nose, eyebrow, tongue etc.

I would never hire anyone that dropped his pants either...( just kidding), but I agree, I really hate facial jewellery. The only thing that I can even stand a little is a small stud in the nose.(that is barely noticeable). Eyebrows and the rest just looks gross ( in my opinion). If your employee works with the public, the fact is, that many people are going to be turned off by it.

Some people practice piercing for religious or other cultural reasons, while many individuals, particularly in the modern West, choose to be pierced for spiritual, or ornamental. Evidence suggests that body piercing (including ear piercing) has been practiced by peoples all over the world from ancient times.

I would rather have a great worker who had their body pierced and tattooed than an idiot who is clean cut and doesn’t know right from left.

Unfortunately, most people would be turned off by it.

I have nothing against it myself, but I would never do it. I don't want people pre-judging me before they even know me. Facial jewellery is really still too new (even if people have been doing it for years and years) for wide-scale acceptance.

thats a bit harsh, my boyfriend has a tongue ring (which comes in useful every now n then) and a nose ring, he looks great cos its not 2 much and his boss must of agreed when he got his job as a chef
