I am looking for ideas to arrange a fun evening with my wife in the Los Angeles area. Even though she is a bit on the straight side, she has offered to go to a strip joint with me. She's open to what she called a "sexually charged adventure"

It depends on your relationship. Just how close are you to one another? If you have any doubts about your relationship's integrity, DO NOT TRY THIS.

My husband and I are swingers (sort of...been out of the loop for a while now, but we still totally dig it). If you are both secure in your love for one another, and you won't freak out at the idea of other people hitting on you (BOTH of you, not just her), then a reputable swinger's club makes for a deliciously naughty diversion. It really does NOT have a meat-market feel to it; they cater to couples who just want to get out and have some fun together, and while there ARE some jackasses who don't belong there (eg: they are rude, disrespectful, or "gropey"), they are not the norm and are dealt with swiftly and efficiently by the bouncers...just like at any other bar. People are friendly, but not pushy. If you think you might get a kick out of watching your wife do some dirty dancing with another woman, or another guy, this could be a good place to make that happen. Talk to the club owner for more information about what goes on at their club, what the rules are, and tips to make your evening a memorable one.

It's pretty simple actually;
1) Make an agreement that this is an experiment ONLY, and that nothing that happens that night will be held against one another.
2) Agree to be aware of one another's feelings at all times, and to remember that your partner trusts you to not tear their heart to shreds by caring more about yourself than him/her. In other words, don't bugger off to chase some tail, leaving your partner to fend for him/herself.
3) Agree beforehand what is and is not okay. ABSOLUTELY do not break these rules. This is essential. If you find out right in the middle of something that you are NOT as okay as you thought you were going to be with something that you had previously agreed to, you are responsible for speaking up about it. Don't expect your partner to read your mind. Tell him or her to stop what (s)he is doing and remove yourselves to somewhere private where you can discuss your feelings and get the reassurance you need.

Then, with these rules in mind, leave the rest of your inhibitions at the door and go play with the rest of the kids. It's a gamble. If you two don't like it, you probably will REALLY not like it! In this case, go back to rule #1. But it shouldn't come to that if you've followed rules #2 and #3 to the letter.

If you find that you do like it, you will most likely REALLY like it!! Then you'll come back to your hotel room and you won't have any time for candles or massage oil or any other bells and whistles. You'll be too busy ripping each other's clothes off. lol

Who suggested the strip club?

If it was you, she will be appalled at the amount of money you throw away in there.

If it was her, she might not be as straight as you think.

I would not take to see ho's work the pole unless she suggested and I / you never, and I mean like not in the last 5 years, go to strip clubs.

Take her out to eat early, go to the beach and watch the sunset together. Tell her how much you love her and that you would rather see her than some skanks. Go to the strip club. I went with my husband and had a great time. Make the night all about her. Get her a lap dance, make sure to tell the stripper that you want no attention so that she does everything for your wife.
