my boyfriend said that we should just be friends and im ok with that cuz we were kinda drifting apart but now i have a HUGE crush on his best friend and mu friends say go for it cuz he broke up with me so should i ask him out or should i not even think of that?

if you want to make him jealous and be talked about by the 2 of them then go for it, but the general rule of thumb is not to date and ex's best friend. Just too messy.

I would at least give him a heads up that you like his friend...he did break up with you but you should still respect his feelings if he is totally against the idea.
