We are able to file our tax's online, register our children for school online and etc. So why can't we vote online? We would have a larger amount of people going through the process. Lets face it. After work, taking care of the kids and everything else that distract us in our daily lives its really hard to stand in long lines. Especially when you are worried about whats next one the the agenda after you've been there for hours. There has to be a better way. So how do we do it. Somebody please ... what is the solution?

I'd be wary if we ever went to that type of election process. Your examples are fine, however, the fall very very short in connection to the process which has a as strong an influence on our autonomy. The solution would be having more people vote, which would have to increase the number of available voting areas. The next solution would be to have more people involved in the election process itself as more people would be better able to handle larger numbers of voters. THE SOLUTION: BE HAPPY YOU'RE PART OF SUCH A GREAT COUNTRY, GET INVOLVED.

It won't happen for a very long time. Many reasons are sure to be spouted by your answerers like voter fraud, but there is really only one.

The lib's will never allow it to happen, because "it would favor the rich". Of course that is their answer to most things. But I can picture it now. We would be discriminating against the lower class, who don't have internet access.

Of course this is all nonsense the dirty little secret is, that Republicans tend to more often have jobs with real responsibilities, and if you could vote online, the number of Republicans that you would add to the voting population would likely gain them 10% more votes.

So unless you can convince the Democrats that they would gain power from it, it will never happen.

First; Find someone who's running for Office- & ask her (him), "How would YOU like my vote?!" THEN- tell them you will ONLY vote for them IF you can vote for them Online. Tell ALL your friends, relatives & persons of Interest -to do the same, & then sit back & see what happens. I'll bet by the General Election of 2016- we'll all be able to vote Online. If WE have the WILL, our elected officials- will find a way... :)

Voting is a little different. Many poor people don't have a computer, or do they have access to to the Internet!

I guess the is one way to make sure they are excluded!!!

What a great idea! Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to fix the elections like they always do, but I am sure they will find a way soon.

It won't happen. Too easy to fraud - or vote more than once - or vote for someone else. Until we all have thumb print readers in our homes.....we will all have to go to a polling place.
