that’s an easy one to answer:

because they have no CLASS,,,,,

people with class, no matter how much money they have, or don't, are educated, refined, worldly, will understand and accept others as what they are, will see the beauty in all things, will never never but never tell you or show off how much money they have or their social status

Class is something money, no matter how much, can't buy, and no matter how poor your are, no one can't take away from you,,,

Dontcha get it? Newbies to being rich, strive for a better "look" that they can now afford.

After GETTING "the better look"(suckers for boutiques), they move on to "Thinking" that being and looking rich makes them also "better" or "smarter" than most people, while still being the average DF smarta - - that they were in the first place. Hence the patronizing behavior to others "not like them".

Most pathetic are the Brits who are nobly descendant but not quite in the same class as the royals. What do they have to show now that even the top tier royalty has also proven to the world that they can do bad(or worse) just as common folk do. Their reason for thumbing their noses at others less monetarily or status endowed is beyond most people's understanding.

There are, of course, people, who for being rich or poor, have not or take not any bearing on their quality as human beings. They are few, but they are also out there. So do take care that a rich person just might be wise, careful, kind and considerate to others. Dont thumb YOUR nose at them.

That's not always true, but money is seen as an indicator of personal achievement, so it ends up working out that more money means you're more successful, while less money means you're less successful, which equates to more money=better person while less money=inferior person.

"They" don't _ALWAYS_ do anything.
Why do blacks always eat chicken?
Why do mexicans always steal hubcaps?

Those questions are just as ignorant as your question.
