I'm so hot! How much does the temp have to raise to give me brain damage?

Internally or externally? How thick is your skull on average? How much cothing are you wearing? what are you standing on? What is the air pressure at currently? When did you last consume liquids? Is this heat directional or ambient? How hot is it? =)

Need to answer these simple questions to find out.

Internally it's a couple of degrees up or down, more than that and brain damage won't really matter because you'll be dead =)

Your body temperature really shouldn't go higher than 102 degrees fahrenheit. Once you get up around 104 and higher, you are looking at the potential for brain damage to occur.

Younger people (children) are more susceptible to brain damage from high temperatures than adults are, but high is high, and really should be dealt with because it could be very dangerous in general.

I am talking strictly internal body temperature, and running fevers.

if your fever is so high then maybe you should go to the ER in the hospital

you could have something worse than a cold if your temperature is higher than the "average" fever
