Who do you think is best and why?

I prefer Beethoven because I like Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise.That doesn't mean Mozart isn't good though.I like the Turkish March.

As a piano player, I lean towards Beethoven.. I like the fiddly stuff but Motzarts not to be sniffed at

BEETHOVAN-
Mozart was more talented, sure, but Beethovan was a visionary. He changed the way classical music was written and performed. Mozart is more formulaic and in essense, boring. Beethovan wrote much more passionate and emotional music (Romantic), stretching the boundaries of classical music. Plus, if Ludwig and Wolfgang were to meet on the street, Ludwig would whoop his ****.

I totally love both! Since I play piano, I'm more of a Beethoven, fan. But then again who doesn't know "Fur Elise"?

Mozart fan here!
He's a prodigy. I love his concertos and sonatas.
Beethoven is also excellent, amazing how he could compose all of that music on deaf ears!

Beethoven for his grand Ninth Symphony and his evocative 6th Symphony and much else besides. And btw it's Mozart.

Mozart - better operas, more familiar music over the ages - and just my personal opinion.

Beethoven
because he composed that
something de Elizbeth
( which i think is the most famous piece around)
and he turned deaf.
but mozart music is fun to play.,...

to be perfecly honest with you, I'd have to say that I prefferr Bach overt all classical composers, simpley because he is the grandfather of all heavy metal, his progressions were shear perfection.
