Lets just say that Im NOT assasinated, and then lets say for the sake of "fun" that I actually have some power. First I would take a good hard look at poverty and racism in this nation. I would search far and wide for the expert ideas and advice from those who work diligently to find solutions and I would employ them to help me create a new america. One where the popular vote was how leaders are elected. A nation which acted responsibly within the global community. A nation that loked more like a participatory democracy than a multimilion dollar corporation. My interests would be with the people. I would support charter and alternative schooling and institute a federal program aimed at undoing institutional racism in public schools. I would support ardently fair trade and sustainable sloutions to energy and farming. I would impose every sanction I possibly could upon companies which polute the ecosystem. I would make sure my advisors and staff were of a diverse population, and my decisions would show concern and attention to issues that affect the poor. So, you see, they probably wouldnt let me live too long. BOO to them.

The first thing I would do is cut our military budget by more than half. If the US were to back off you'd be surprised at what would happen.
People with drug problems wouldn't go to jail but into rehab only. They only get more drugs in jail.
I would make industrial hemp legal and we would stop cutting down trees for our paper, etc. Hemp doesn't make you high and can be used for just about anything- makeup, clothing... It is amazing.
I would have an attitude that we all are really just one-one big soul if you will. That would change a lot.
I would not run a government based on fear-that is F.alse E.vidence A.ppearing R.eal. The current one is all about fear.
And that is just a start....

I'm not quite sure. Personally I wouldn't ever want to be president or have a woman president. Men, by nature, are warriors and they have inate war capabilities. Women, on the other hand, are born to be nurturing. Women have too many "feelings" and shouldn't be allowed to run a country.
Seriously, if I were president and it were my time of the month, I'd hate to accidently call Kim Jung II of North Korea a selfish thoughtless prick and he could poop mounds of cactus for the rest of his natural born life.....
No... that wouldn't be good at all....

If I were president I would handle wars by trying to compromise then if they want to fight we go to war. Crime I'd amp up the police force to decrease the crime level. And hatred like with racism I'd make those people who r races publicly known if ever charged by some1.

just kidding, there would still be war if women were all leader, thats crap to say otherwise, maybe more maybe less. But I can assure you there would be a lot more sh\t talking behind the other countries backs ;)
I would be a bad president I would be the type to say.. let's talk it all out and go to some kind of UN counciling...or it would be a bad day and I'd nuke someone

Damb, that feels good, I would try to allie with Iran or some east nation to get their oil, I would finish the war, I would lower taxes, I would just focus on American as we save money from not spending it on military. I would put more survailance and harsher laws. I would not help out any country for any reason and the haterd will never stop so **** them all.

The sex/gender of a leader really shouldn't be an issue :)
But...assuming a woman got into power, there'd probably be no war...just tough negotiations once every few weeks :D
