Short answer: no

Please however give her extra attention and loving care before and after the operation

As long as she has a normally functioning remaining ovary, she will not have any apparent changes in ovulation, menstruation or hormone effects (the remaining ovary will take over everything that is needed). Meaning that everything should reamain normal.

She won't have both ovaries removed, correct? If so, then no, it should not affect it. She could even still conceive!
