I know that bras are a hassle. However, they help keep you a little more modest. They help keep the dark circles around your nipples from showing through your tops. They also cut down on stimulation from your shirt rubbing against them. That will keep them from pointing out.

I know what you mean. It's not comfortable and it feels awkward. You might suggest a compromise to her. You can wear a halter that has a self-bra or a knit camisole under your clothes when going somewhere with adults around, but when you're home with your friends, you can dress to be comfy and happy.
Training bras really don't serve any good purpose. When your chest is flat, you don't need the support of a bra. So why put yourself through the embarassment? My advice to your mom (and you can show this to her) is to pick such battles wisely. There's enough pressure on girls to grow up in this day and age. Mom's don't need to add to it. If you're a girl and you're happy with your body, then life is good and there's no need to change. When your breasts start to grow and you want to wear a bra, something tells me you'll be asking her all by yourself.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Even though you don't have a very developed chest, you really should consider getting a bra, especially if you own tops that are a bit see -through or just don't look quite right, you know? Try different kinds of bras, and stick to one you're most comfy with.
You know what else you can do? Buy these kinda like tank tops that u can wear under ur shirts. Not a bra, but a good compromise.

Training bra? Training for what? Sounds like a good con by bra manufacturers.
Tell your mom to save her money untill you have breasts.
Some studies have shown a small link between breast cancer and prolonged bra wearing (some women wear a bra 24/7), goodness knows why, but that's another debate.
Stick to crop tops if you are uncomfortable. Perhaps this would be an acceptable compromise with your mom.

Technically I don't think there's any real need for a training bra -- they're not there to train your breasts or body shape, just there to train you for getting used to wearing it, fastening it, etc. Your mom might be concerned about wearing thin shirts without a bra and accidentally showing too much -- in that case, you could check out a really light camisole-type bra (often called a bralette or a day bra) that will just serve as an extra undergarmet. I've linked to a few that might be cute enough for you to not feel silly about wearing

Think your mum wants you to get used to wearing one. My daughter is 12 years old and went from a size A to C in about 6 months. I would go for a sports bra then if feels more like a crop top.

Maybe your mom think its that age where you need to wear one. You shouldn't be embarrassed about it, you will get used to it and the idea. It's also a good idea to wear it because although you may be nearly flat you might see something through your shirt/nlouse that others should not see....

It'll get you used to wearing one and pretty soon you'll need one, coz as you grow up ur chest can get quite sore if you run or go down stairs, even if you're flat!
