In my opinion...
A man who is worth having, will pursue you. If he likes you as more than a friend, let him make the first move! Otherwise, you can scare him away. Guys are funny like that.
If you MUST kiss him, by all means...only on the cheek. Guys like to chase :) Get to know him as a friend first, then see what happens!

I would ask him how he feels about you and let him go for a kiss. If he doesn't kiss you after he tells you how he feels, then tell him how you truely feel. If you tell him maybe he will come out with the really answer and you can maybe get a kiss on the lips or french kiss, and it also depends how old either of you are.

well is hes ur friend than in the cheeks and if yall get more serious start with a kiss and then after that u can get more intimate with a french kiss

Ask if he likes you more than a friend a yes earns him a lip, a no, a cheek. No french.

On the cheek, but very close to his lips...this way he will hopefully know where you really wanted to kiss him.

Find a quiet moment alone. Make strong eye contact. Open mouth slighly. Turn head slighly. Move forward one inch. Wait and see what happens. If he flinches kiss him on the forehead real fast and back off, otherwise see what happens next. See if he follows through.
