Sometimes you have to make an important decision and you have several options but you are not sure which option you like more, is better for you or will fulfil you more. What should one do in such a case. How do YOU make important decisions?

Ask advice from several people. The one you agree with has the answer you knew all along. People only ask advice to have someone confirm that they are right and never react well to advice that disagrees with what they already thought.

All choices involve (AAB) attitudes, assumptions, and beliefs...

And you may have "options" but you have to look underneath what is running your choice and that is your AABs.

The thing most people fail to account for is FEAR is a huge deciding factor for humans. By nature we normally will choose safety over risk even when the payoff for risk is far beyond the potential "cost" of that risk (avoidance of negative is weighted far heavier than the potential gain).

I'll give you $50. Flip a coin and if it is heads I take it back if it is tails I'll give you $100. Most people will take the $50 and skip the bet even though they didn't have any real risk cost (they fear losing the 50).

So considering that another way of looking at a choice is by imagining the results as working or non-working

Working enhances the lives of you and those around you.

As long as you make more working choices you'll be okay.
