The last person who answered is wrong. We do not discriminate against anyone. People of any religion can join, as long as they believe in a higher power. The reason people believe that Catholics can't join the Masons is because the Catholic church has a problem with Masons, not the other way around.
As for women joining the Freemasons, it is not possible to join the REAL Freemasons that are accepted throughout most of the world, but there are smaller orders originating in France that allow women as members. Not sure about the cornwall area, because I am an American Freemason and don't get to England that often.

women cant join the freemasons, nor can anyone outside the protestant religion...great bunch of guys huh?
