He didn't even flinch when he was "privately" speaking with Tony Blair. I was very impressed. He sounded confident and matter-of-fact about where he stands, as he always has, but without the stagefright.

I thought so too. My mom, who loves him more than I do, was offended by him saying "sh1t", but we both agreed that in the context it was used it was acceptable. Anyway, I think he just gets nervous when he's "on camera", because everyone's so critical. Actions speak louder than words though, and he certainly isn't weak in action. Even those who hate him realize that, even if they hate him for it. Wasn't it FDR who said "Talk soft and carry a big stick"? Or was it Teddy?
He just seemed human in that discussion.

Yes, I think people have the wrong impression of Bush. I mean it seems like the bad things are all we see. I was nice to see Bush not having to worry about the cameras.

Newsflash: The media gets to pick and choose which images to show and they seem to make a game of picking the most unflattering images/clips possible of our current president. It is a very powerful tool in shaping public opinion.

Ever heard of liberal media bias?

Yes, I seen the footage and watch him give speeches but this time he did not stutter, I was impressed that he was talking about the matter in private. I don't car eif he said "****" because that just lets me know that he cares.

He can be himself off the stage of media. No one to misquote him, no one to pick his statements to death. He is not the dummy you all think he is, he is very intelligent & well spoken & well liked by foreign leaders.

He would be the first to tell you that he is not a good public speaker.

That matters little to me.
