I was wondering if windows XP recognizes the RAID array or not, and if in defragging it happens to reorganize the file structure accordingly. I would imagine it does, but with as much trouble as I went through getting this setup to work, I'd hate to pitch it on a hunch.
anyone willing to answer this one knows what I mean ;)

Diskeeper makes a far superior tool for dealing with defragmentation and I don't think its real expensive either.
Defrag is like a version1 of diskeeper anyways but defrag is still better than nothing.
