Take a cold bath or shower before you turn in. Keep a spritz bottle of water near bed and spray yourself when you get too hot. Do try to get a breeze... you will find it's cooler on the lower levels of your house if you have a choice (heat rises). Keep windows covered during the day to keep the sun out, and open them at night to let the cooler air in.

WATER. Fill a jug and keep it in the fridge. Always have ice made. Get a water bottle or Rubbermaid container w/lid. Keep all 3 full at all times. Water bottle always by your side and full. RELAX in the dark (if you must, w/tv on)., for min. 1hr before bed. Keep this up and it will be less and less hard for you to not think about being hot. may not be a/c, but it worked for me. plus, it's WAY healthy and really helps w/ weight loss.

Unless you are not scared of insects, I would suggest to keep your windows open like me. It gives me some comfort that way. Another posh option is to get your own silent A/C for your room or the entire house. This will fix all your problems in any weather condition

Well, AC always helps...but my dad doesn't keep the AC on at night...so what I do is I actually do put the fan on, lol. And I sleep without the covers in a cotton tank-top or something.

Wet a tissue with cool (not freezing) water, fold it so that it fits across your forehead. Then lie on your back and close your eyes. Imagine you are lying in a pool of lukewarm water and it's taking the heat away from your body.... try it!!! It cost's the price of a tissue (toilet paper works just as well!!). I would appreciate feedback from others on this!!

Cheers,

Duke.
