In my best Texas accent.... "You ain't from around here are you boy..."

100+ degree temperatures are not abnormal for this part of the world during the middle of summer.

Not just TX but reports show the whole planet is heating up. Does not surprise any of us here in the State. Trust me, we would all leave this hot place if it was not for the one thing that keeps us here-The people! Nothing like a true Texan

I think so , this is like our 4th or 5th day with 100+ temp , and im in northeast Texas so the humidity makes it twice as bad

I believe that is true - and it doesn't help that your humidity levels are through the roof! Although here in Oklahoma its 105 today and we deal with humidity too - not as much as you though. So anyway - I feel for you!

*I'm a texan at heart! :)

No, Texas has the death penalty and are allowed to carry guns. You have a better chance of harm from other means.

as the heat increases, pressure forces air out. This is precisely why Texas blows.

I'm not sure, but I think so. I live in West Tx. Our town is usually the nations hotspot. Tomorrow we are supposed to be 112. It sucks!

I grew up in the California desert, and it wasn't unusual to hit 115 in the summer. Suck it up dude, it gets worse than that.
