Hehe, yes I talk to myself all the time. It disconcerts people, but they'll get used to it. Thing is, I get the most sense out of a conversation when I'm talking to myself, and I always understand what I'm talking about, unlike other people. And yes, I argue with myself too....
When questioned, I just tell people I enjoy a better calibre of conversation than they can provide ;0)

The inner voice is your enemy. It serves to convince you that you are safe and comfortable.
Try ignoring it the next time you face a risk. Will you take the safe way out or jump in and see what comes up.
Most the time the voice will back you away from the edge. That is unless you are a real masochist with a death wish and then it will probably say "go ahead punk, make my day".

Well, I sometimes do - it happens when I'm stressed out...but I have never had an argument with myself and lost..Maybe you should see somebody to talk about it

oh, i routinely converse, in my head generally, but sometimes outloud with the various aspects of me, myself & i. there's an ongoing battle between the sassy sprite who wants to start mischief, the old househag that scans the domicile and is horrored by the mess created by the antzy artist who just wants to create & play. ah, what happiness!

I talk to myself all the time.
I give myself hopes, recommendations, recriminations, abuse.
It goes with thinking.
I prefer talking to other people though. There is greater variety of opinions.

Yes.
When I do something stupid...
When I talk myself into doing something good, like going to the gym...
When I shop, cook or drive

All the time. At least then its guaranteed no-one will answer me back or argue. I ask myself a wuestion, then nod in agreement. Its fun, and somewhat funny.

yeah Im always telling myself off
"get to work you lazy b£££$%$"
"those pots won't wash theirselves"
"get a job"
losing arguaments with yourself is normal, just try and win a few as well, I think its 50-50 in the arguaments I win/lose with myself.
