It's like bleeding inside but you can't even shed a single tear. If only we can cry and then feel better afterwards but no, we just have to keep it all inside.

It depends on the individual...some people cry easily and so rarely have any pent up sadness or grief...others aren't comfortable expressing themselves in that way so hold it inside (which isn't healthy)....and sometimes the situation just doesn't bring tears...maybe that's a sign that although we aren't happy about it, we either knew it was coming or knew it was for the best and so didn't find it a shock or tragedy...

when things are too much u can't cry anymore. u just stuff it deep down inside. eventually it will come out, but sometimes in front of a situation when u're really hurt and you want to cry, the system just blocks you out. i think it's a way of protecting you, not showing the world how hurt you are.

I know what you mean - I am the same...
With me it's because my father always told my sisters and me not to cry even as kids...
It's a sign of weekness in his eyes and now in my eyes too...
When I was a kid I didn't let anyone see me cry. Today I don't cry - not at my grama's feuneral, not when someone I love got raped, not when my b/f left me...
I feel like it's the one thing that shows I'm in control - don't show someone else they hurt you.
